As you know, for now as the Basic Cardmember of AmEx SPG, you could earn a referral bonus of 10,000 Starpoints for each approved referral up to a maximum annual referral bonus of 150,000 Starpoints. But, AmEx may want to change this in the near future. If you check the AmEx website, you will find "To be eligible for this referral bonus, your friend must apply for the Card by September 27th, 2017. We can still accept applications after this date but you may or may not be eligible for this bonus".
Really not looking good... Let's wait and see what will happen...
