Aeroplan cannot search segments which don't include Canada or the US

A really bad news from Aeroplan: since May 26, 2017 people cannot search segments which don't include Canada or the U.S at Aeroplan website. So, if you want to redeem those segments, you need to call them at 1-888-270-7025. Still not sure if this is permanent or not.

WTF, maybe I need to stop accumulate Aeroplan from today...

RBC Esso Visa is no longer available

RBC Esso Visa credit card is no longer available on RBC's website. We got news that the contract between RBC and Esso will end around end of July, 2017. After that the RBC Rewards points and Esso points are not transferable. And the current RBC Esso Visa credit card will be changed to RBC Rewards+ Visa card.

As of May 23, 2017, the Esso gift card will no longer be available for redemption through RBC Rewards. As of Jun 6, 2017, the ability to convert RBC Rewards points to Shoppers Optimum points will be no longer available. But the Shoppers Drug Mart gift card will continue to be a choice for redemption.

And, the RBC Rewards eMall program will be discontinued as of Jun 6, 2017...

Air Canada bumps man off flight, separating him from girlfriend

A big news of Air Canada is on CBC now. A Saskatoon man who was bumped off an Air Canada flight in Winnipeg is demanding compensation from the airline, which left him stranded in the city and separated from his girlfriend.
