A new Amazon.ca Rewards MasterCard is here. This card is no annual fee. Cardholders can earn Amazon Rewards on this card (2000 Amazon Rewards = $20 Amazon.ca gift card). You can get 5% back at Amazon.ca, grocery stores, and restaurants for 6 months after approval, on first $3,000 in eligible purchases.
Eligible Prime members can get 2.5% back on eligible purchases at Amazon.ca, Whole Foods Market stores, and foreign currency transactions after the welcome offer. If you are not a Prime member, you can get 1.5% back on eligible purchases at Amazon.ca and Whole Foods Market stores. For other purchases, you can get 1% back everywhere else Mastercard is accepted.
From my point of view, this is a replacement card for the previous Chase Amazon Visa. If you are not a Amazon Prime member, I don't recommend this card to you.
BTW, if you are interested in this new Amazon MasterCard, I suggest that you can wait a few days before the application. There could be additional GCR bonus in the future...
