New personal or business banking Members can receive $200 when they register for our Get Your Share program, open a chequing or savings account, and meet eligibility requirements.
How to get the $200 bonus:
1) Register for the Get Your Share program online: https://getyourshare.ca/meridian/register
You can choose which account you wants to open. For the referral code, if you don't have one from your friends, please use ours: CYRW-4425 , thanks. Once you open the account, you will have your own referral code.
2) For personal account, you need to open a non-registered chequing or savings account online or in a branch. For business account, you need to open a business chequing or savings account in a branch within 12 weeks of registering (you will get the $200 bonus after this step).
3) For personal account, you need to set up and complete at least one recurring direct deposit or bill payment within 12 weeks of registering. Pretty easy, right?
Note: To be eligible for the incentives the program offers, new Members must register for this program prior to account opening. The New Member Promotion is open to any resident of British Columbia or Ontario who (i) has reached at least age of majority based your province of residence; and (ii) has not been a member of a BC credit union and/or an Ontario credit union, as applicable; and (iii) has not participated in the New Member Promotion or any other Get Your Share™ promotion, since April 4, 2013, all as determined by CCUA in its sole discretion.
