Aeroplan Partnership with Uber

 

Aeroplan is pleased to announce an expanded loyalty partnership with Uber Canada, giving Aeroplan members in Canada the opportunity to earn points on Uber Eats and Uber Rides purchases when they link their accounts.

Starting Dec 15, 2021, Aeroplan members based in Canada will be able to earn the following when linking their Aeroplan and Uber accounts:

• 1 Aeroplan point per $1 spent on eligible Uber Eats orders over $25 in Canada;
• 1 Aeroplan point per $1 spent on Uber Airport Rides (all ride types including Uber X) and premium Rides (including, UberXL, Uber Comfort, Uber Black, Uber Select etc.) in Canada and the U.S.;
• 2 Aeroplan points per $1 spent on Uber Premium Airport Rides in Canada and the U.S.;
• Plus, every time Aeroplan members take 10 Uber rides in Canada or the U.S., they’ll receive a $20 CAD Air Canada flight credit.

Aeroplan's New Airline Partners: Oman Air & Air Mauritius

Starting December 14th, 2021, Oman Air and Air Mauritius will be officially added to Aeroplan's airline travel partners.

Oman Air is the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman. The airline operates flights from its hub in Muscat, Oman throughout the Mid-East, several European gateways, the Indian Sub-Continent, South Asia, as well as to popular adventure destinations in Africa.

Air Mauritius is the national carrier of the Republic of Mauritius. The airline operates flights to its European gateways Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Heathrow, as well as to Mumbai, Johannesburg, Madagascar, Réunion and Rodrigues.

These new partnerships expand Aeroplan’s coverage in the region, and most excitedly, gives members access to even more premium air products. Members will be able to earn on or redeem for Oman Air’s Apex Suite in the Business Class cabin, as well as the Private Suite in the First Class cabin!  Air Mauritius is the first airline in the world to operate both the new generation Airbus A350-900 and A330-900neo and expands Aeroplan’s presence giving members more inventory and choice for airlines serving premium leisure destinations in the Indian Ocean vicinity.

Once again, Aeroplan is the only frequent flyer program in North America offering the opportunity to earn and redeem on Oman Air and Air Mauritius flights.

Initially, Aeroplan Members will only be able to redeem for Air Mauritius flights. Accrual of Aeroplan points is anticipated to be launched in early 2022.

In terms of Aeroplan Flight Rewards on both Oman Air and Air Mauritius flights, please note the following:

• Flights will be priced based on Aeroplan’s pricing for partner airlines.
